Beverly Hot Springs is now Beverly Zen Hot Springs: same spring, new chapter

Beverly Hot Springs, the Koreatown spa built over Los Angeles’s only natural hot spring, is now Beverly Zen Hot Springs. It is the same place at 308 N Oxford Ave, with the same artesian water, the same phone number and the same hours, open daily 10 AM–8 PM. What’s new is the family that owns it, the name, and a plan to restore the spa around the spring.

What stays the same

  • The water: the same artesian well, 2,200 feet deep, struck in 1910.
  • The team: the body-scrub, massage and facial specialists guests have known for years.
  • The basics: 308 N Oxford Ave, (323) 734-7000, open daily 10 AM–8 PM, free parking on site.
  • The prices: admission is $50 on weekdays and $55 on weekends and holidays, and it is included with any body scrub, body care or massage.
  • Your gift certificate: certificates bought under the previous owners are honored in full.

What’s changing

  • The name: Beverly Zen Hot Springs, with a new logo of a gold flame and a silver swirl, rising like steam off the water.
  • The care: we are restoring the spa piece by piece and will post each fix as it’s done.
  • The website: beverlyzenhotsprings.com, with prices, hours and answers in one place. Online booking and gift cards are next.
  • The listings: Google, Yelp and Apple Maps will show the new name in the coming weeks.

A short history of the spring

2026A new family takes over and renames the spa Beverly Zen Hot Springs.
